About the event

Don't miss your chance with this one-time screening as part of The Dome Spotlight Screening.

Sex, drugs, rock 'n' roll and the swinging '60s are up for a laugh in this feel good ensemble comedy from one of Britain's most successful comedy screenwriters, Richard Curtis (Love Actually, Notting Hill, Bridget Jones's Diary).

Set in 1966 in the era of British pirate radio, a bunch of rogue DJs set up Radio Rock, an illegal radio station on a boat, that captivate Britain by playing the music that defines a generation and standing up to a government that wanted control of popular culture. Loosely based on actual events, this film stars an ensemble cast including New Zealand’s own Rhys Darby, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Bill Nighy, Nick Frost, Chris O’Dowd, Rhys Ifans, and Kenneth Branagh.
