About the event
80s Blitz is coming to Smash Palace!! They are bringing back the most colourful decade in a celebration of big hair, spacies, yuppies, Miami wine coolers, fashion and of course some of the greatest music, skilfully curated and mixed by DJ Hitman. Come out and boogie to some of your guilty pleasures whether it be Duran Duran, Rick Astley, Madonna or Bananarama or play on the original 80s arcade machine filled with over 5000 classic games
Dress up is highly encouraged and there will be bar tabs up for grabs for the best dressed. If you are short of some 80s threads, costume hire is available from the Musical Theatre (open from 11am – 1pm Saturdays, 101 Innes Street) and the Unity Theatre (open from 10am to noon, 209 Ormond Road). Get in a week or two beforehand to reserve the finest kit
