Since 2019 Gizzy Local has offered a platform for community connection in Tūranganui-A-Kiwa, Gisborne.  We share uplifting stories about our people and this place that we're lucky enough to call home. We shine a light by which our community can see each other, hear each other and get a sense of the wealth of wisdom, creativity, knowledge, and diversity that exists amongst us.

At the beginning of 2022 we also created a physical community space in which we hold creative gatherings such as creative workshops, poetry evenings, markets, raves, and live music events amongst a variety of other life-enriching activities. We also offer this space and our support to members of our community for their events.
